Dust or Crust?

I learned about criptobiotic soil while we were in Moab last week. Criptobiotic soil is a kind of crust that protects dirt from wind storms. It also gives nutrients to the soil ,The nutrients let plants and grasses live in the desert. You all probably know that something this good must have a catch ,Well the catch is... if you step on this soil it will kill it and the plants around it will die Thus effecting the food chain. If this soil is killed it can recover ,But the recovery can take up to 250 years. It is asked by all of the rangers in Utah that you don't break this precious soil. much easier said " Don't Bust the Crust!"

Fishy very Fishy

So, on Friday I went to go buy a fish and I did ,but when I came home to feed it I noticed something very strange It didn't eat. The next day I tried to feed the fish different food but... It still refused to eat it. Then, I tried a different method of feeding I riped up the fish flakes and to my surprise it ate them!!! Though I still wonder why it did not eat the flakes whole, but I would like to know what you guys think of it so please answer the question on the side of the page.

The War of Heat

For a couple of weeks now my friend and I have been having a war of heat. The war was based upon one not so simple question "what kind of star is hotter white or blue?" The arguments usually start out like this: ME: blue hot is hotter than white hot. MY FRIEND: NO, white hot is hotter than blue hot. ME: Blue hot is hotter than white hot because it is at the bottom of a fire and white hot is above it.
MY FRIEND: No No No, you are all wrong blue hot is not considered a type of fire. ME: Yes it is. MY FRIEND: no it isn't. ME: For cryin' out loud lets continue this tomorrow. MY FRIEND: Ok buddy lets go get some lunch. As you can see my friend is really good at changing the topic so quickly.
